1 Corinthians Study

The ancient Greek city of Corinth was destroyed by the Romans in 146 BC.  It was rebuilt about 100 years later as a commercial complex and center for cult activity.  The Apostle Paul visited there on his second missionary journey, planting a church with the help of Aquila and Pricilla.  Many of the converts came from cultic backgrounds, leading to conflicting beliefs and practices.Paul’s letters to the church in Corinth sought to address many of these issues, some of which are prevalent in today’s society, with the goal of producing a healthy church.  Our study of 1 Corinthians will seek to unlock these Biblical truths and identify applications for today.We plan to meet on Thursdays at 11:30 am.  Contact Stuart Holland for additional information.
