National Day of Prayer 2022

CCEM Team

The National Day of Prayer has been celebrated annually in the U.S. since 1952 when Congress created a joint resolution, signed into law by President Harry Truman, stating that the President would dedicate one day every year for a National Day of Prayer.

In 1988, President Ronald Reagan signed legislation designating the first Thursday in May as the annual observance. Every president since then has on that day issued a proclamation encouraging the people of the nation to gather together in prayer.

Join CCEM and millions of believers across the nation on Thursday, May 5th at 7:30am CST as we pray this year’s theme “Exalt the Lord Who Has Established Us” from Colossians 2:6-7.

If you are unable attend the morning prayer or feel led to continue praying throughout the day, we encourage to attend the cross-company Christian National Day of Prayer from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm CST. You can access Teams meeting here via a personal computer or mobile device.
